Anaheim, CA – NAR Conference

I’m currently in Anaheim, California attending the NAR (National Association of REALTORS) annual conference – along with 19000 of my closest REALTOR friends!

Amazing energy around the whole conference.

Jack Canfield spoke yesterday – it is always good to hear  him and be reminded that ‘If it is to be it is up to me!’  He is also very approachable and down to earth – especially on the escalator!

There are REALTORS from around the world attending the conference – the sessions have something for everyone – my focus has been those to do with the International markets and today is Technology day so that will be interesting.

Another busy day ahead …

Costa RicaBuying a Property in Costa Rica

You should also use an attorney (Certified Public Notary) with a good reputation who can handle the financial aspects of the transaction and ensure that you will have legal title to your property. Mexico ~ Puerto Vallarta

MexicoRecently I spent two weeks in Mexico – I spent a week in Puerto Vallarta  after spending a delightful week in San Miguel de Allende.

I wrote about my visit to San Miguel in a couple of earlier blogs – #1 and #2 – it is a wonderful colonial town, cobbled stone streets, beautiful churches & other buildings, fresh air and you certainly don’t need a fitness membership in this town – where ever you go seems to  be uphill in both directions!!

So now I have the pleasure of telling you about my trip to beautiful Puerto Vallarta.

Turks and Caicos Islands

Turks and CaicosI just received this bit of good news from a colleague in the Turks and Caicos Islands and great news if you are considering buying a property in the Turks and Caicos Islands!

TCI government’s recent press release has confirmed that the EU funded Revenue Study concluded ‘the introduction of a low annual tax on property is not administratively feasible or prudent in current economic conditions’.
