I was in Calgary recently to meet with clients about International real estate and whilst in Calgary I took the opportunity to attend a leadership conference where I had a very special opportunity.

The keynote speaker for the day was the 42nd president of the United States – William Jefferson Clinton.  He is a very charismatic & interesting speaker and spoke to the audience of nearly 4000 in attendance on a number of philanthropic topics and also took the opportunity to compliment Canada on its recent efforts in response to the Haiti earthquake along with several other programs that we support globally.  The ‘piece de resistance’ was that I actually got to meet him!

Some of the other speakers that I heard and enjoyed that day was Mike Lipkin (a excellent motivational speaker from Toronto) and Hayley Wickenheiser (Captain of Canada’s Gold Medal winning Women’s Olympic Hockey Team)
