RE/MAX - Canadian Background
RE/MAX started it’s Canadian operations when it opened it’s first franchise in Calgary in 1977.
RE/MAX Ontario began operations in November 1979, opened it’s first franchise in Mississauga in March 1980 with a total of 20 offices in Ontario by the end of the first year. The rights to Atlantic Canada were purchased in Fall 1981 & the first franchise opened in Atlantic Canada in January 1982.
RE/MAX became the #1 Real Estate Organization in Canada in 1987 and still enjoys this status today.
RE/MAX Ontario Atlantic head quarters are located in Mississauga, Ontario and currently provide support for the more than 230 offices in Ontario and Atlantic Canada and over 4,500 Sales Associates.
